CockTales: Dirty Discussions Ep. 60 “Mom I Want To Do Porn” ft. Beauti

We finally did it guys. We found a porn star who was willing to come on the show and tell us all about her life in the adult entertainment industry. Take a listen.

MY THOUGHTS

After being part of the episode and then listening back in the editing room, I’m still curious about a few things so we definitely need to have her back. But there are a few things that stood out. First things first, I think it’s interesting how people can be okay watching porn and even encourage it, but don’t think that doing porn is okay. During the show you can hear the questions and comments made, as well as the tone of voice used. Even the conversation that Medinah and I had after the show, as well as conversations with other people I know, I find it to be a bit hypocritical. If you’re not okay with other people doing porn, how do you plan to continue to watch it? I totally get the notion that you wouldn’t want to do it yourself, or you wouldn’t want a loved one to do it, but if an adult makes the decision to do porn that’s their business. There’s really nothing to disagree or agree on. That happens often with people’s life choices. People will say they don’t want to offend someone or don’t mean to be rude, but that’s exactly what happens. If you’re going to stand in your feelings of judgement, stand in them. Don’t apologize because it’s how you feel.

Another thing that had my mind spinning was Beauti’s mother’s response to her reveal. I couldn’t imagine going to my mother and telling her I’m doing porn. Then I definitely couldn’t imagine her just asking how much I made and where her child support was. That was surprising. I wonder what home life was like for her. I’ve always assumed that most people who work in adult entertainment are either searching for some sort of approval or they are really desperate for money. Either way, it’s good to hear that someone is doing it because they enjoy it. I hope that’s totally true.

I could ramble for hours but I’ll save the rest for YouTube. What are some points in the show that stood out to you?
